What is 4-H and how do I become a member?

The 4-H program provides opportunities for all youth ages 5–18 to participate in innovative, fun programs through which they can develop valuable, lifelong skills. Today, 4-H in the United States involves 7 million youth, 50 million alumni, and more than 1,000 learn-by-doing programs ranging from robotics and biotechnology to skateboarding and agriculture.

In Gooding County more than 300 4-Hers are learning valuable skills, having fun, making new friends and solving problems in a variety of topic areas. They are earning awards and recognition and practicing citizenship. Youth are developing leadership abilities and making a difference in our community.
