The Gooding County Jail is looking for a Kitchen Cook/Manager.  Must be willing to work Monday through Friday.  Duties include supervising inmate workers, ensuring the facility is secure and clean and communicating with the detention staff.  Must arrange and pre-plan for three meals per day, two of which are hot.   Ensure the required minimum calorie intake is met daily and that inmate allergy and doctor ordered diets are followed.   Will need to order necessary food and supplies and submit bills as necessary at the end of the month.  We will be required to conduct the yearly dietitian's review and ensure all yearly inspections are completed.

Requirements are:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Stocking, lifting and moving objects
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Valid Idaho drivers’ license 
• Must pass back ground check
