Adult Misdemeanor Probation Officer – Full-Time
Salary/Benefits: Salary range $17.00/hour, upon successful completion of POST Academy $18.00/hour, County Benefit package, federal holidays off and paid time off, and PERSI.
Description: 37.5 hours/week on a 4-day/week schedule. Probation Officers work hand in hand with community groups, social service agencies, and treatment providers to make available to offenders the support and services they need. Probation Officers also maintain strong partnerships with law enforcement and other justice agencies so that all can benefit from shared expertise and information.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, must possess a valid Idaho driver’s license, must pass a background check, and must successfully complete Idaho POST Misdemeanor Probation Officer Academy.
