Homeowner's Exemption:
Homeowner's in Idaho can enjoy this tax exemption on one home, including manufactured homes, provided they:
1. own the home
2. are an Idaho resident 
3. occupy the home as their primary dwelling
The exemption applies to the value of the home and up to one acre of land. The current exemption maximum is $125,000.
A one time application must be filed within the applicable tax year.
Application for new construction must be within 30 days of occupancy.

Circuit Breaker:
The Circuit Breaker program reduces property taxes for qualified applicants. The amount of reduction is based on income for the previous calendar year. If you qualify, the property taxes on your home, and up to one acre of land, may be reduced by as much as $1,500 (excludes solid waste, irrigation, or other fees charged by government entities). Applications must be filed between January 1 and April 15. You must apply and qualify each year to receive this benefit.
