- A valid ID is necessary.
- Phone cards and supplies can be purchased by money being placed on an inmate's book.
- No outside cards or property accepted.

Inmates in custody at the Gooding County Jail can have video visits with family and friends. Inmates will be given 60 minutes of free visits per week; additional visits will incur charges, Visiting members can utilize any computer with internet access, video cameras, and/or microphone. There is also a visitation booth in the lobby of the Courthouse.
Failure to comply with visitation rules may result in suspension of visitation privilege's for inmates as well as the visitor. If you wish to see a list of rules, please contact the Jail for further information.
Visits may generally be scheduled seven days a week, between the hours of 08:00am and 10:00pm. Video visits will be be scheduled during headcount, meal times, med pass, or during certain other times as determined by the facility's scheduled events.
Contact the Jail staff if video visitation is down for an extended period of time.

PRISON RAPE ELIMINATION ACT
In compliance with Section 115.22 of the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Standards, the Gooding County Jail has provided policies to ensure either administrative or criminal investigations are completed on all allegations of sexual abuse or sexual harassment, or they are referred for investigation.

Applications for employment can be made at the Sheriff's Office during regular business hours or can be printed, filled out and submitted to the Sheriff's Office. A background check must be done in connection with any applications submitted.

No Class D testing after 4 p.m..
