1. Am I registered to vote?

2. What is required to register to vote?

You must be a U.S. citizen, have resided in Idaho and in the county for thirty (30) days, and you must be at least 18 years old. Photo identification and residence verification is also required to register.
Acceptable forms are:
1) An Idaho driver's license or identification card.
2) A U.S. passport or Federal photo identification card, including military ID's from active and retired personnel.
3) A tribal photo ID.
4) A current student photo ID, issued by an Idaho high school or post secondary school.
5) Or a photo ID with any document that has a valid address in the precinct; such as a utility bill, bank deposit slip, auto registration, etc.

*You cannot register to vote if you have been convicted of a felony and have not yet had your civil rights restored.

3. How do I register to vote?

You can pick up a voter registration card from the election office located at 624 Main St. in Gooding or click the link to print the form and bring into the office or you can mail it in to the same address as above. Click Here

4. Is a photo ID required at every election to vote?

Yes, Idaho Code requires each elector to either show an acceptable photo ID or sign a Personal Identification Affidavit prior to voting at any election. (34-1106, Idaho Code)
